Household activities in producing basic services, such as cooking, teaching or educating, caring for or looking after household members and other services provided by households for their own needs. In practice, if the household is also involved in producing various kinds of services to fulfill its own needs, then it is classified under household activities that produce services to fulfill its own needs.

Undifferentiated goods-producing activities of private households for own use

Activities to produce similar household staples, in other words, these household activities are used in various activities that produce goods for their own needs. These activities include hunting and gathering, agriculture, provision of shelter and clothing and other items produced by households for their needs. In practice, if households are also involved in the production of marketed goods, they are classified into goods-producing industries in accordance with the KBLI. If mainly used in the production of specific staple goods, then it is classified into the appropriate goods production industry from KBLI.
