Here’s a general overview of the requirements for setting up a local or foreign owned company in Singapore:
At least one shareholders and one director
- A Private Limited Company must have at least one resident director and one shareholder.
- 100% Foreign Ownership
- The minimum paid-up capital requirement is SGD 1.

A Certified Company Secretary
- A company secretary must be appointed within 6 months of incorporation
- The company secretary must be a resident in Singapore
