Visa on arrival in Bali allows foreigners from eligible nationalities to stay in Bali for up to 30 days (can be extended for a further 30 days). Bali VoA is granted for tourism (B1), business (B2), medical (B3), or governmental (B4) purposes.

❌ Not Allowed with Visa on Arrival:

  • Being employed in Indonesia
  • Selling services or goods
  • Receiving rewards from Indonesian entities
  • Engaging in journalism or research

How to Get a Visa on Arrival in Bali?

If you are from an eligible country, you can get a Visa on Arrival in Bali by providing the following documents to the immigration officer upon arrival for immigration inspection:

  • A passport valid for at least six months.
  • An outbound ticket from Indonesia.

These requirements apply to all types of Electronic Visas on Arrival (B1-B4). You can also apply for a Visa on Arrival online aka e-VoA 14 days before coming to Bali.

Keep in mind that e-VOA is not issued immediately so you must apply for it at least 48 hours before departure.
