Main types of residence permits for retirees in Indonesia
E33G Stay permit for 1 year (extendable)
- Personal bank statement with a minimum amount USD $2000 or equivalent the last 3 months period
- Bank account that proves income in the form of salary or income worth at least US$60,000 per year;
- Employment contract with a company established outside the Indonesian Territory.
- E33G visa does not have an age requirement!
E33E Retirement Visa for 5 years (extendable)
- Proof of living expenses for yourself and your family for at least US$2,000
- A deposit to a state-owned bank for at least $US50,000
- Proof of income of at least $US3,000/month
Both residence permits forbid employment in Indonesia.
