Virtual office Bali, Indonesia
A registered office address in Bali for your company, backed by our own office rather than a PO box, so company setup, licensing, and banking go through.

How a virtual office works in Bali
Every company in Indonesia needs a registered address, its legal domicile. A virtual office provides that address without renting a whole office, so you can register a PT PMA, get your business number, file tax, and sponsor a KITAS using a real commercial address in Bali.
Ours is a real office, with reception, mail handling, and signage, rather than a name on a list at a PO box. In Bali that is what lets the address pass, because the tax office, the OSS system, and the banks all verify that a registered address is real before a company can operate.
When a virtual office gets rejected
A virtual office is legal in Indonesia, but it is not a free pass. It works for some businesses and fails for others, and using the wrong address is one of the most common reasons a company stalls at licensing or tax registration. Three limits matter most:
- It has to suit your activity. A virtual office is fine for activities that do not need physical premises, such as consulting, digital, software, or trading administration. Activities with real premises, a restaurant, a hotel, a villa, a spa, or anything with machinery or daily customers, cannot run on a virtual address.
- The address has to match reality. Indonesian tax law decides your domicile by where business actually happens, not by the address on paper. A registered address in one place while you operate somewhere else gets rejected at the tax or licensing stage.
- It has to survive a check. Banks visit the registered address and photograph the signage before opening a corporate account, and the OSS system cross-checks the address against zoning. An address that cannot be verified blocks your bank account and your licenses.

Virtual office FAQs
Specific questions about using a virtual office to register and operate a PT PMA in Bali.
Is a virtual office accepted for PT PMA setup in Bali?
Yes, in the right zone and for the right activity. The address has to sit in a commercial zone, the provider has to hold the right permits, and the KBLI codes filed on the deed cannot belong to a sector that requires physical premises by law. Hospitality, F&B, wellness, retail with a storefront, and most licensed sectors do; consulting, digital, software, and trading administration do not. We check the codes before the deed is drawn.
Will it pass the bank verification visit?
Yes, because the address is a real office with signage, reception, and our staff on site. Indonesian banks send someone to the registered address before they open a corporate account; they photograph the signage and verify the company is reachable there. An address that fails this check stalls the account, and the account is what every operational step depends on.
Can I use it to sponsor a KITAS?
In most cases, yes. A PT PMA registered against a compliant virtual office can sponsor an investor or work KITAS once the company has its NIB and tax registration. A handful of sectors and immigration officers ask additional questions about physical presence, and we flag those before the application goes in.
My business is hospitality / F&B / wellness — can I still use a virtual office?
Not as your operational address, no. Hospitality, food and beverage, and wellness all need premises that match the activity — a restaurant has to operate from the restaurant, a villa from the villa. A virtual address as the legal domicile while a physical premise is the operational location can also be challenged at the tax stage, because Indonesian tax law looks at where business actually happens. For these sectors, the real lease comes first and the registered address sits on top of it.
What does a virtual office in Bali cost?
Pricing depends on the length of commitment and whether you add desks or meeting room hours on top. A registered address alone is a fraction of what a small commercial lease in Bali would cost, and we quote per company once we know your KBLI codes and how often you would use the meeting rooms.
What happens to my mail and official letters?
They arrive at the office. We log them, scan urgent items, and forward originals to you on your schedule. Tax letters, bank correspondence, and regulator notices reach people who act on them, which matters because Indonesian agencies still send official correspondence on paper.
Can my team work from the office?
Yes, on a per-desk basis. The base virtual office is the address and the domicile documents; you can station people at the office for USD 300 per desk a month, and the same Bali address that registers your company becomes where your team works. Meeting rooms are bookable on top.
Can I switch to a physical office later?
Yes. The company domicile can be updated when you move to a leased space, and we handle the OSS update, the tax-office notification, and the bank record changes alongside the move. Many of our Bali clients start on the virtual address and switch once a villa or storefront is signed.
