Visit visas in Indonesia
Visit Indonesia for 60-180 days (extendable), depending on the type of guarantor and purpose of the stay.
What are the allowed purposes of a visit visa?
|Speakers, lecturers, public figures’ activities
|Person or organization directly responsible for the event or events, which explains the details of the agenda and the material to be presented.
|Religious preaching activities
|Same as C10
|Participation in trade fairs
|Government agencies or private institutions (company etc.) as the host of the MICE or Trade Fair.
|Business start-up endeavors
|Government agency or private institution explaining the relationship with applicants.
|Joining vessels within Indonesian waters
|Proof from the government agency or company stating the foreigner will join the vessel.
|Production of foreign films
|Permit for filming location from the relevant ministry.
|Emergency or urgent work
|Statement from government agency or private institution explaining the urgency of the foreigner’s presence in overcoming the occurrence caused by natural disasters, damage of the main engine, or riots / protests that need to be handled immediately to avoid fatal losses for the company and/or the public.
|Industrial technology counseling/training
|Permit for filming location from the relevant ministry
|Company audits, quality control processes
|Statement letter from a government agency or private institution as the host of the program that explains the foreigner’s activities during in Indonesia.
|Conducting work trials
|Invitation to conduct work trials from a government agency or a private institution.
|Proof that explains the after-sales service of the product.
|Information, invitations, or correspondence from government agencies or private institutions that Explain the relationship with the Applicant.
|Installation and repair of machinery
|Statement from government agency or private institution explaining that the installation and or repair of the machine must be carried out by the Foreigner concerned and cannot be represented/authorized to others.
|Attendance in judicial processes
|Information from law enforcement government agency.
|Invitations or statements from government agencies.
|Internship contract or statement from government agency or private institution as the host of the internship program.
|Medical treatment and recovery
|Statement from government agency/private institution, or statement from the applicant which explains that the foreigner will conduct medical treatment in the Indonesian Territory.
|Activities related to government business
|Invitation or statements from a government agency.
|Coverage of news events
|Invitations or information from government institutions/interview transcript that has been approved by the resource person/a statement from the Indonesian embassy regarding news coverage plans in Indonesia, including a press ID.
How to get a visa on arrival in Indonesia?
First of all, you need to have a guarantor (see requirements in the table above) for your visit in Indonesia. If you don’t have one, consult with one of the Emerhub’s consultants and we will help you find a solution.
Required documents for a visit visa:
- A valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months
- A completed visa application form
- A recent color photograph of the applicant
- Proof of return ticket or onward journey
- Evidence of sufficient funds for the duration of stay
- Supporting documents relevant to the purpose of the visit
