Multiple Entry Visas in Indonesia

Visas primarily for preparing investments (D12) or doing business (D2) in Indonesia

Two Main Types of Multiple-Entry Visas in Indonesia

💼 D12: Pre-investment visa

  • 180 days per entry
  • Valid for one or two years
  • Carry out activities related to investing in a business or conducting market research
  • Requires invitation from the government or a company in Indonesia

🏦 D2: Business visa

  • 60 days per entry
  • Valid for one or five years
  • Requires an invitation from a company or family in Indonesia

Multiple-entry visas are given for a specific period from one to five years, depending on the purpose of the visit. You are allowed to enter and leave Indonesia during that timeframe but cannot stay longer than the allocated 60 or 180-day period per visit.

Multiple-entry visas are not supposed to be used for living in Indonesia. Check out options for residence permits if you plan to stay longer than a few months in Indonesia.
